Getting started

Pick a tool on the home page, then choose your files on the tool's page. Settings and the price appear before anything is processed.

You don't need an account for a single task. Sign in to use credits, keep a task history across devices, or save a project.

What's free

Free tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, page numbers, protect, unlock and more) can be used once a day: usually up to 50 MB and 200 pages, compression up to 100 MB, merging up to 3 files. It’s counted per browser and account together and resets every day at 00:00 UTC.

Premium tools have a free preview, and you pay to save when you’re happy: conversion tools show the first 3 pages in full quality; PDF to Word, OCR, watermark removal and similar tools create a two-page preview (3 per person). PDF editing is free to edit and paid to save. Previews can’t be saved, and you get your money back if processing fails.

Paying for a single file

When the daily free use is spent, or for conversion tools, we process first. You see a preview, such as the new file size and the first pages, and pay only if you want to save it. The result waits 30 minutes for payment.

Tools such as PDF to Word, OCR and watermark removal show a free two-page preview first. When you pay, processing of the whole document starts after the payment is confirmed. If processing fails, the payment is refunded automatically.

Downloads and deletion

Files you upload but don't process are deleted after 60 minutes.

Results stay available for 60 minutes after you first see them, and never longer than 24 hours after they're ready.

You can delete a project and its files yourself at any time. Saved projects are kept for 30 days after they were created.

When something goes wrong

If a file fails, the reason and the next step appear next to it. Failed files aren't charged, and credits held for them are returned.

To report a problem with a result, contact [email protected] with the task reference shown on the task page.
